Open the app and it will automatically search for golf courses near your current location. You can adjust the search radius in Settings (from 5 to 150 miles). You can also drop a pin on the map to search from a different location.
Premium ($0.99, one-time purchase) unlocks hole-by-hole scorecards with par tracking and course history, tournaments with multi-player leaderboards, check-ins to track your visits, and tee time reminders with push notifications. The core features — finding courses, hourly and 3-day weather forecasts, map views, and directions — are always free.
Make sure you've granted location permission to Golf Around Me. Go to Settings → Privacy & Security → Location Services and ensure Golf Around Me is set to "While Using the App." If you're still having trouble, try toggling Location Services off and back on.

Yes. Premium purchases are tied to your Apple ID. On your new device, open Golf Around Me and go to the Premium section — your purchase should restore automatically. If it doesn't, tap "Restore Purchases."

Taroji supports Apple Intelligence (free, on-device, requires iOS 26+), OpenAI (GPT-4o, o3-mini, etc.), Claude by Anthropic, Google Gemini, Grok by xAI, and any custom OpenAI-compatible API endpoint. Cloud providers require your own API key.
Yes. With Apple Intelligence selected as your provider, readings are generated entirely on-device. Card drawing, spread management, and saved readings always work offline regardless of provider.
Go to Settings → Manage Cards, then tap any card. You can change its name, upright and reversed emojis, meanings, and add custom photos for both upright and reversed orientations. You can also exclude cards from the deck or add entirely new ones.
